How to Apply

To be eligible, you must:

• Be 18 years old, or older;
• Have an Australian mobile number and valid email address;
• Be an Australian resident for tax purposes; and
• Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, an Australian Permanent Resident or a non-resident holding an acceptable Temporary Residency Visa.

The following Visa categories are not acceptable:

• Visitor Visa (exception, a Special Category Visa – NZ Citizen is acceptable), Working Holiday, Student, Exchange/gap year, Transit/short stay/seasonal and Bridging

You’ll need to provide at least one form of ID in the application form:

• Australian driver’s licence.
• Australian passport.
• International passport.

Please have your smart phone handy as part of the application process to complete an identity check electronically.

If you don’t hold standard forms of identification such as a driver’s licence, Australian passport or Medicare card, please call us on 1300 415 445 (or contact us via the Chat function in the Kogan Mobile App) to discuss your application with us.

Information you need to give us

• Driver’s licence number (if you have one).
• Your current employment status.
• Your income, before and after tax.
• What assets you own, including cars and houses.
• What debts you owe, including personal loans, home loans, other credit cards or buy now, pay later accounts.
• Your general living expenses, including food and groceries, recreation, education and dependents, rent, medical and health, insurance, vehicle and transport.
